I have been painting ceramics since childhood. My mom, who introduced me to it, had been painting ceramics since she was a child, as well.
As of 2021, we were able to procure a couple of kilns and now we pour, fire, and glaze ceramics in addition to painting.
It has been a learning process, but it is important to learn new skills and to challenge yourself creatively.
Below, you will find some examples of pieces I have painted with acrylics, and pieces I have poured. I hope to soon add some glazed pieces to my portfolio as I have a few pieces in-progress.
